12th Annual Welcome House Breakfast: A Morning to Remember
The Power of Community Was on Full Display
On April 23, more than 1,000 friends, supporters, and community leaders came together for the 12th Annual Welcome House Breakfast—an unforgettable morning of hope, connection, and inspiration.
We were honored to welcome Art Alexakis, frontman of Everclear, who joined local radio icon Skid Roadie for a heartfelt conversation on recovery, resilience, and redemption. Art’s moving performance of “Strawberry” brought the room to a standstill, capturing the raw emotion behind every man’s journey to healing.

Honoring Miracles in Action
This year’s Miracle Award was presented to the Curnow Family, whose compassion and generosity continue to transform lives. Their unwavering commitment is a reminder that families play a vital role in the recovery journey—and that healing happens together.
We were also joined by golf legend Tom Watson, whose presence underscored the importance of second chances and community support. And a special thanks to our warm and engaging emcee, John Holt, for guiding us through the morning with heart.
