13th Annual Welcome House Breakfast
The Welcome House Breakfast is our largest and most impactful community event of the year. Each spring, business leaders, community partners, and advocates come together to celebrate and support long-term recovery solutions that strengthen individuals, families, and the Kansas City community.
This free event raises critical funds for Welcome House’s long-term residential recovery programs and helps ensure access to recovery support when timing matters most. Attendance is complimentary, and guests are invited to give at a level meaningful to them.
With only 100 tables available, the Welcome House Breakfast sells out every year and moves to a wait list. Early commitment is strongly encouraged.

Interested in becoming a Sponsor?
Sponsorships do more than support an event. They create access to long-term recovery when timing matters most.
Our Sponsors make it possible for Welcome House to offer stable, long-term residential recovery programs to individuals who might otherwise face barriers to care. This investment gives people the time, structure, and support needed to rebuild their lives, reconnect with family, and return to the community prepared to live independently.
By funding long-term recovery rather than short-term intervention, sponsorships help reduce emergency room visits, incarceration, and repeated use of crisis services. They strengthen families, support workforce readiness, and contribute to healthier, safer communities across the Kansas City region.
Most importantly, sponsorships save lives. They ensure that when someone is ready for change, a place exists where recovery can begin and last.
